We understand that having loved ones by your side can help with your healing and care. To promote healing and safety and limit infection, some units may limit the number of visitors you can receive at one time. Visiting hours vary by facility. Please confirm with your location.
CHI Saint Joseph Health provides trained, qualified medical interpreters at no cost to patients and families in order to ensure effective communication for those who are Limited-English Proficient (LEP), Deaf/Hard of Hearing (HOH), or have other communication challenges.
We also are focused on providing resources and education that support the practice of culturally competent care within our organization to diverse patient populations.
We speak your language and can offer a variety of resources to meet language needs, including:
- Face-to-face interpreters for many languages, including Spanish and American Sign Language
- Over-the-phone interpreters for most spoken languages
- Video-remote interpreting for American Sign Language
