Triple Amputee and Purple Heart Recipient to Speak at Frazier

U.S. Army veteran and recipient of the Purple Heart Bryan Anderson will share his inspirational message with patients and staff at Frazier Rehab Institute, a part of KentuckyOne Health. In 2001, Anderson enlisted in the U.S. Army and served two tours in Iraq, stationed in the Baghdad area reaching the rank of Sergeant. In 2005, Bryan was injured by an improvised explosive device (IED) which resulted in the loss of both of his legs and left hand. He is one of the few triple amputees to have survived his injuries in Iraq.

Anderson is the national spokesperson for Quantum Rehab and is now traveling the country spreading his message of perseverance and determination during 13 months of rehab at Walter Reed Army Hospital. Anderson continues to push his limitations by snowboarding, wakeboarding, whitewater rafting and rock climbing.
