Saint Joseph Mount Sterling to Host Maternity Fair

Mt. Sterling, Ky. (September 12, 2016) – There can be a lot to juggle as an expectant mother, and it can be an intimidating time for some. Saint Joseph Mount Sterling, part of KentuckyOne Health, is hoping to ease the nerves of moms-to-be with information and education at the hospital’s 2nd Maternity Fair.

The fair is set for Saturday, Sept. 24 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Saint Joseph Mount Sterling.

Local area vendors will be stationed inside the building, as well as outside near the front entrance of the hospital, located at 225 Falcon Drive. Saint Joseph Mount Sterling staff will offer tours of the Women’s Care department.

“Welcoming a child into the world is a special time for new parents,” said Benny Nolen, president, Saint Joseph Mount Sterling. “With this event, we hope to help families prepare for the addition of a new child, and help them understand what resources are available to help them during this time.”

Area merchants will provide a number of raffle prizes for expectant mothers. Safety seat checks and guidance will also be available from the Montgomery County EMS.

The event will include physician meet and greet sessions, lectures from experts, facility tours, refreshments and more. One lucky attendee will also win a Grand Prize drawing, which will include free delivery of your baby at Saint Joseph Mount Sterling. The hospital will cover the out-of-pocket expenses up to a maximum of $2,000.

Registration is available online at www.KentuckyOneHealth.org/sjmsmaternityfair. For more information about the event, call 859.497.5017.
