Saint Joseph London to Discuss Seasonal Affective Disorder
During Bite Size Learning Event
Free health education event at Laurel County Public Library

London, Ky. (February 13, 2018) – Saint Joseph London, part of KentuckyOne Health, invites the community to learn about seasonal affective disorder at the free Bite Size Learning health education event on Wednesday, February 21. The event will take place from noon to 1:00 p.m. at the Laurel County Public Library, located at 120 College Park Drive in London.

Elizabeth Clark, licensed psychological practitioner with KentuckyOne Health, will be the featured guest speaker at the program. Clark will discuss symptoms of seasonal affective disorder, as well as treatment options. Seasonal affective disorder, often referred to as SAD, is a type of depression related to changes in seasons that causes people to lose energy and feel moody.

Bite Size Learning is an educational series sponsored by Saint Joseph London. Each month, a physician or staff member from Saint Joseph London hosts a special lunch-and-learn-style presentation on a different health topic to increase awareness and educate the public.

Advance registration for this event is requested. Saint Joseph London provides free box lunches to registered attendees. To preregister, call 606.864.5759.
