Making Healthier Food Choices in 2018
Free health education event at Laurel County Public Library
London, Ky. (January 10, 2018) – Saint Joseph London, part of KentuckyOne Health, invites the community to learn about ways to have a healthier year, at the Bite Size Learning health education event on Tuesday, January 30. The event will take place from noon to 1:00 p.m. at the Laurel County Public Library, located at 120 College Park Drive in London.
Shelly Stanko, MD, KentuckyOne Health Primary Care Associates, will be the featured guest speaker. Dr. Stanko will discuss ways to make healthier food choices when planning meals. Topics will include grocery shopping for healthy food, food preparation, and recipe alterations.
Advance registration is requested. Saint Joseph London provides free box lunches to registered attendees.
Bite Size Learning is an educational series sponsored by Saint Joseph London. Each month, a physician or staff member from Saint Joseph London hosts a special lunch-and-learn-style presentation on a different health topic to increase awareness and educate the public.
