Saint Joseph London to Discuss Genetics in Cancer
During Bite Size Learning Event
Free health education event at Laurel County Public Library

London, Ky. (August 14, 2017)— Saint Joseph London, part of KentuckyOne Health, invites the community to learn about genetics in cancer at the Bite Size Learning health education event on Wednesday, August 16. The event will take place from noon-1 p.m. at the Laurel County Public Library, located at 120 College Park Drive in London.

Muhammad Azeem Niazi, MD, Commonwealth Cancer Center, will be the featured guest speaker. He will discuss genetic factors of cancer, along with the importance of prevention, treatment and early detection.

Advance registration is requested. Saint Joseph London provides free box lunches to registered attendees.

Bite Size Learning is an educational series sponsored by Saint Joseph London. Each month, a physician or staff member from Saint Joseph London hosts a special lunch-and-learn-style presentation on a different health topic to increase awareness and educate the public.

The event is free to the public, but those interested are encouraged to preregister at 606.864.5759.
