Saint Joseph London to Focus on the Benefits of Walking
During Walk With a Doc
Dr. David Keedy to lead walk on Thursday, July 21

London, Ky. (July 13, 2016) — Let’s get moving! It’s time to stay fit and have fun, while having health questions answered by a real, live healthcare provider. Saint Joseph London, part of KentuckyOne Health, will host a Walk With a Doc event on Thursday, July 21. The walk will take place at the Lake Walking Path at Saint Joseph London.

Saint Joseph London Walk With a Doc events are part of a nationwide program that empowers people to improve their health through physical activity while they exercise side-by-side with their health care providers.

This Walk With a Doc will be led by David Keedy, MD, KentuckyOne Health Cardiology Associates, who will focus on the benefits of walking. Participants can ask medical questions in an informal setting, receive free health screenings, and take part in a heart-healthy walk.

No registration is required. Participants are encouraged to invite family and friends to walk together toward a healthier lifestyle.

All Walk With a Doc events are free and open to the public and begin at 5:30 p.m.
