Saint Joseph Hospital Foundation Golf Scramble Helping Local Patients
Annual golf event to raise money for outreach program
Lexington, Ky. (May 27, 2016)—Saint Joseph Hospital Foundation, part of KentuckyOne Health, will host its annual golf scramble on Monday, June 6 at the University Club of Kentucky, 4850 Leestown Road, Lexington.
Now in its 27th year, this tournament has raised more than $1.5 million to support programs and services at Saint Joseph Hospital, Saint Joseph East and Saint Joseph Jessamine RJ Corman Ambulatory Care Center. This year’s tournament will support Saint Joseph Community Outreach Services, a program which provides follow-up and support services for patients after they leave the hospital. The program also helps support the underserved community, regardless of their ability to pay.
“We want to make sure our patients are taken care of in the hospital, and when they return home,” said Leslie Buddeke Smart, CRFE, vice president of development, KentuckyOne Health. “This golf scramble helps provide the funds for us to reach our patients across the state after they leave the hospital. We look forward to a great day of golf for a wonderful cause.”
Both corporate sponsorships and individual registrations are still available for the annual event. Online registration and information can be found at saintjosephfoundation.org.
Registration and lunch begin at 11 a.m. The scramble will begin at noon, with the awards ceremony and dinner to be held immediately after play. For sponsorship information, please contact Tawanda Owsley at 859.313.2055 or [email protected].
