Our Lady of Peace Earns a Place on
“Best Places to Work in Kentucky” 12th Annual List

Louisville, Ky. (January 22, 2016) — Our Lady of Peace, part of KentuckyOne Health, earned a place on the 12th Annual Best Places to Work in Kentucky list, which identifies and recognizes Kentucky’s best employers. Our Lady of Peace was recognized in the large companies category, with more than 500 employees, and was one of three KentuckyOne Health facilities that made the list statewide.

The Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and the Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management recently released the Kentucky list, presented by Kentucky Career Center and the State Information Data Exchange System. The selection process, managed by Best Companies Group, is based on an assessment of the company’s employee policies and procedures and the results of an internal employee survey.

The Best Places to Work in Kentucky competition is a multi-year initiative designed to motivate companies in the Commonwealth to focus, measure and move their workplace environments toward excellence. Studies show a strong correlation between profitability and creating a good place to work. The initiative is based on FORTUNE magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work for in America” list.

“It’s very rewarding to be named of Kentucky’s Best Places to Work,” said Jennifer Nolan, president, Our Lady of Peace. “I’m proud of our team for creating such a positive work environment, and that positive energy is then transferred to our patients as well and helps create an optimal environment of hope and healing.”

Our Lady of Peace is one of the country’s largest private, non-profit psychiatric hospitals, offering the most comprehensive array of psychiatric treatment and substance abuse services in the state for children, adolescents and adults. The facility offers a number of specialty programs for children and adolescents with complex treatment needs, such as intellectual or developmental disabilities; forensic issues for females; and/or co-occurring substance use issues.

In addition to Our Lady of Peace, other KentuckyOne Health facilities named to the Best Places to Work in Kentucky list include Saint Joseph Martin in Floyd County and Saint Joseph Jessamine in Jessamine County.

The winner rankings will be announced at an awards dinner on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at the Lexington Convention Center.
