Ninth Annual Saint Joseph London Gala Raises Nearly $35,000
Thomas Mullins, DO, named Physician of the Year

London, Ky. (February 12, 2018) – The ninth annual Saint Joseph London Foundation Gala raised nearly $35,000 for the Saint Joseph London Foundation, part of KentuckyOne Health. The event was held Saturday, February 3, 2018 at the London Community Center to help raise funds for Saint Joseph London.

“We are so thankful for those that attended this wonderful event, which will help further the success of health care initiatives at Saint Joseph London,” said Scott Webster, Board Chair, Saint Joseph London Foundation. “The support we received will benefit services and medical care at the hospital, helping many patients in years to come.”  

Thomas Mullins, DO, KentuckyOne Health Hospital Medicine Associates, was awarded Physician of the Year at the event. Dr. Mullins is an Internal Medicine Hospitalist at Saint Joseph London.

“Dr. Mullins’ compassion for his patients is an amazing example of what a doctor should be,” said one of Dr. Mullins’ nominators. “He is always willing to go above and beyond to care for his patients and makes sure to encourage everyone that he comes in contact with.”

Dr. Mullins has cared for patients in London and the surrounding counties for more than 14 years.

Proceeds from the event will support the Saint Joseph London Foundation, which invests in outstanding patient care facilities and services, the education of health caregivers, advanced clinical research and improved access to quality medical care.

In the past nine years, money raised at the Saint Joseph London Gala has helped with area projects, including the birthing center, community outreach, and continuing education to nursing and allied health.
