Jewish Hospital Rudd Heart and Lung Center, part of KentuckyOne Health, will glow blue throughout the month of March in honor of National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. Colon cancer is leading cause of cancer death among non-smoking men and women in the United States. Kentucky ranks fourth in the nation for colon cancer deaths. When detected early, the five-year survival rate for colon cancer is more than 90 percent.
