KentuckyOne Health Physician to Discuss Benefits of Weight Loss Surgery
During Free Berea Seminar
Event Monday, March 26 at Saint Joseph Berea


Berea, Ky. (March 20, 2018) – Saint Joseph Berea, part of KentuckyOne Health, invites the community to learn about the benefits of weight loss surgery during an upcoming seminar on Monday, March 26. The event will take place at 2 p.m. in the ground floor conference room at Saint Joseph Berea, located at 150 Estill Street.

Alberto Zarak, MD, KentuckyOne Health Center for Weight Loss Surgery, will lead the seminar. Dr. Zarak will discuss procedures such as gastric bypass, adjustable gastric banding, and sleeve gastrectomy. Additional topics to be discussed include how to know if you are eligible for weight loss surgery, risks and benefits of surgery, how much weight will be lost after surgery, and whether insurance covers weight loss procedures.
