KentuckyOne Health Orthopedic Associates Adds Nurse Practitioner Heather Hamilton Hardy


Bardstown, Ky. (October 14, 2015) - Heather Hamilton Hardy, MSN, APRN, has joined KentuckyOne Health Orthopedic Associates located at 875 Pennsylvania Avenue in Bardstown, where she will practice with Mark Duber, MD.

Hardy, a family nurse practitioner certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, comes to KentuckyOne with 10 years of direct patient care experience and a diverse background in emergency medicine, critical care and family practice.

Most recently she served as a family nurse practitioner for an urgent care clinic where she performed a range of services for the whole family, including physicals and wellness exams, updating immunizations, health screening and testing and treatment of minor injuries and acute illnesses. Prior to that, she worked as staff nurse in KentuckyOne Health emergency department and critical care units.

She received her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from University of Louisville and her Master of Science degree in nursing from Bellarmine University.

Hardy is certified in basic and advanced cardiac life support and is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Kentucky Coalition for Nurse Practitioners and Nurse Midwives and the Kentucky Nurses Association.
