KentuckyOne Health Offers Free Health Screenings for Wear Red Day


Heart disease is the leading cause of death for men and women in the United States, and KentuckyOne Health is working to raise awareness among community members.

February 3, 2017 is National Wear Red Day, a signature event of the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women movement, which is sponsored by KentuckyOne Health.

To help educate women on the symptoms of heart disease and how to be heart-healthy, staff from KentuckyOne Health’s Heart and Vascular Care are teaming up with the American Heart Association to offer free screenings at Macy’s at Fayette Mall. Screenings will be available beginning at 11 a.m. in front of Macy’s, near the cosmetics department.
