KentuckyOne Health Hosts 2016 Nurse Expo
KentuckyOne Health invites nurses to learn about career opportunities at select facilities

Lexington, Ky. (May 19, 2016) — Calling all nurses! KentuckyOne Health will host its 2016 Nurse Expo in the lobby of Saint Joseph Hospital on Thursday, June 9, from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. This year’s expo will take on the theme “Your Passport to Find a Place for You.” Participants will use a mock

“passport” to travel through the expo, visit information stations, and learn about nursing career opportunities with KentuckyOne Health. KentuckyOne Health hopes to recruit quality nurses for a number of its facilities during the expo, including Saint Joseph Hospital, Saint Joseph East, Saint Joseph Jessamine, Continuing Care Hospital and The Women’s Hospital at Saint Joseph East.

“KentuckyOne Health is more than just a place to work,” said Claudia Carroll, RN, manager of talent acquisition, KentuckyOne Health. “Our mission is to attract people who are dedicated to the service of our patients and their families. As the heart and soul of the hospitals, our nurses set the standard for excellence in patient care and quality.”

The 2016 Nurse Expo will feature stations providing information and career opportunities for multiple service lines, including surgical services, critical care, emergency services, education, pastoral care and more. Event ambassadors will help guide participants from station to station, which will be led by nurses from respective departments, giving participants first-hand insights about available positions and what it’s like to work for KentuckyOne Health.

The expo will also include department tours, opportunities to speak with department leaders, refreshments and door prizes, as well as on-site job interviews led by human resources representatives and nursing managers. Participants may schedule interviews in advance, but walk-in interviewees are welcome.
