Lexington, Ky. (November 4, 2016) – Kentucky One Health is being honored for its work in diabetes prevention and education. The American Diabetes Association Bluegrass recently awarded KentuckyOne Health with the RJ Corman Corporate Partner of the Year award.

KentuckyOne Health has been a longtime supporter of the American Diabetes Association (ADA). In 2016, KentuckyOne Health increased its commitment to the American Diabetes Association by committing to a Kentucky Statewide Silver Sponsorship and sponsoring multiple events and programs to support the ADA’s mission.

“This award further demonstrates our commitment to the education and prevention of diabetes,” said Dana Graves, MSN, RN, manager, Diabetes and Nutrition Care Program. “We are committed to supporting such a wonderful organization like the American Diabetes Association, and will continue to do our part to help Kentuckians who are battling this disease.”

The award was one of four handed out at the American Diabetes Association’s Kiss a Pig event on October 15 at the Hilton Lexington. The event honors volunteers and organizations who are dedicated to making a difference in diabetes in Kentucky.

The American Diabetes Association is the nation's leading voluntary health organization supporting diabetes research, information, and advocacy. Founded in 1940, the Association provides services to hundreds of communities across the country.
