Fundraiser benefits Children’s Center at Our Lady of Peace

Fourth Annual Boots & BBQ Bash, a fundraiser benefiting the Children’s Peace Center at Our Lady of Peace, part of KentuckyOne Health, through the Jewish Hospital and St. Mary’s Foundation

The evening will include silent and live auctions, dinner, and live music from Nervous Melvin and The Mistakes. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres begin at 6 p.m. with dinner served at 7 p.m., and music and dancing from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Kevin Harned, chief meteorologist with WAVE 3 News, will serve as the master of ceremonies for the event.

Proceeds from the event will go toward adolescent substance abuse programs and services at Our Lady of Peace. The Children’s Peace Center at Our Lady of Peace helps more than 1,500 kids each year. Our Lady of Peace was founded in the 1950s for adults, but as the focus has shifted to children’s care as well, the hospital has taken significant steps to transform the physical facility into a child-focused environment for those in need.
