Community Health & Wellness Fair Presented by Flaget Memorial Hospital Foundation to Return for Fifth Year

Louisville, Ky. (September 21, 2016) – Free health screenings, assessments and education seminars from Flaget Memorial Hospital and more than 70 health partners will be available at the Fifth Annual Flaget Memorial Hospital Foundation’s Community Health & Wellness Fair. The fair is free and open to the public.
 
Physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, respiratory therapists, chiropractors, optometrists, physical therapists, and mental health professionals will come together to offer a variety of free health screenings, provide education and answer health questions. The health fair will also include a healthy cooking demonstration, Kidz Zone, door prizes and free giveaways to participants.

Select screenings will be by appointment only for clinical breast exams, prostate exams, cholesterol and skin cancer by calling 502.350.5700. A lung cancer risk assessment will also be offered, along with the fecal immunochemical test (FIT), a take-home screening test for colon cancer.
