Christopher Croot, MD, Joins Cancer and Blood Specialists in Shelbyville

Shelbyville, Ky. (June 1, 2016) – Christopher Croot, MD, has joined Cancer and Blood Specialists, part of KentuckyOne Health, located at 60 Stonecrest Court in Shelbyville. 

Most recently, Croot was employed at Hematology and Oncology Associates in Tupelo, MS and Starkville, MS. He received his Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from Centre College and his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine.

He completed his residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS, and his Fellowship in Hematology and Oncology from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.

Croot is board certified in internal medicine, oncology, hematology and pediatrics. His hobbies include reading, camping, fishing and spending time with his family.

Cancer and Blood Specialists is open from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on Friday. For more information, or to make an appointment, call 502.361.8496.
