Team Registration Open for Flaget Memorial Hospital Foundation’s
Seventh Annual Golf Tournament
Event to benefit Project Hope

Bardstown, Ky. (May 9, 2018) – The Flaget Memorial Hospital Foundation, part of KentuckyOne Health, will host its seventh annual golf tournament on Friday, June 1 at Maywood Bardstown Country Club.

The event is expected to raise $30,000 to benefit Project Hope, an effort by the Foundation to and fill a critical community need by expanding Flaget Memorial Hospital’s Cancer Center and adding 3D mammography equipment to the hospital.

“While this golf tournament is a fun event, it also has a bigger purpose of helping future patients in need of care,” said Leslie Buddeke Smart, president, Flaget Memorial Hospital Foundation. “Through community support, we are able to raise needed funds to add three infusion rooms and a pharmacy to Flaget Memorial Hospital’s Cancer Center, which allows the center to have the necessary space for the growing number of patients it sees.”

Registration is now open for the tournament, which includes a four-person scramble format. Each participant will receive lunch, beverages, green fees, a cart and participation in the awards cocktail reception. A silent auction will be open for bidding. The Foundation will also offer a giveaway or chance to win a prize at nearly every hole on the course.

Corporate sponsorship opportunities are also available, ranging from Presenting to Bronze levels, as well as hole and cart sponsorships. Corporate sponsors at the Bronze level or above will receive one or two foursome teams, recognition at the event and participation in the awards ceremony.
