Team Registration Open for Flaget Memorial Hospital Foundation Third Annual Golf Scramble
Corporate Sponsorships Available

Bardstown, Ky. (June 13, 2014) --- The Flaget Memorial Hospital Foundation, part of KentuckyOne Health, will host its third annual golf scramble on Friday, June 27 at Bardstown Country Club at Maywood.

Team registration is now available. Teams are made up of four people and each participant will receive lunch, beverages, green fees, a cart, gift bag and windbreaker.

Lunch and registration for the tournament will begin at 11:15 a.m. and golf begins at Noon. Something new this year will be a silent auction that will be open for bidding before the tournament.

In addition to team and individual registration, corporate sponsorship opportunities, ranging from Gold to Bronze levels, as well as Hole and Cart sponsorships, are still available. Corporate sponsors at the Bronze level or above will receive: one or two team registration spots; hole(s) sponsorship(s); recognition at event, awards ceremony, in-donor board, website and annual report; and all of which will depend on the level of support. To inquire about participation, please contact Heidi Wilhelm at 502.350.5058 or [email protected].

The annual tournament has seen tremendous growth over the years and raised more than $33,000 in 2013 to support the mission of providing the finest healthcare and most advanced technology at Flaget Memorial Hospital. The money raised last year helped fund updates to hospital technology, such as the prescription assistance program and the purchase of a new 80-slice CT scan for the hospital.

Philanthropic partnerships with the community allow the hospital to continue its mission and outreach programs to underserved populations in Nelson County and surrounding communities.

“The community provides tremendous support for this event, and in turn, the event helps to bring health and wellness to local patients and families,” said Sue Downs, president, Flaget Memorial Hospital. “We are expecting a great turnout for this year’s event. All the proceeds will be directed toward health initiatives in our community.”

Current event sponsors include: Flaget Memorial Hospital Medical Staff (Presenting), Flaget Memorial Hospital, Central Kentucky Radiology, Newcomb Oil Company & Five Star, BCD, Inc., Health Care REIT, Inc., Hedgepeth Photography, Independent Stave Company, Kindred Healthcare, LG&E and KU Companies, Mago Construction, Mattingly & Howell Orthodontics, Medica Pharmacy & Wellness Center, Messer Construction & TEG Architects, Salt River Electric, Shrewsbury & Associates, St. Catharine College, Trim Masters Foundation, VNA Nazareth Home Care and Frazier Rehab.
