SIRH Pediatric Therapy Clinic to Celebrate 10-Year Anniversary with Open House

Southern Indiana Rehab Hospital (SIRH) Pediatric Therapy Clinic has helped hundreds of children over the span of its 10 years of operations, whether through therapies for autism, cerebral palsy, injuries, communication disorders and more. SIRH will host an open house for patients and the community to celebrate the milestone. It is the first SIRH outpatient facility to reach the 10-year mark. One of the pediatric therapy patients who will be in attendance with her parents at the open house will be 4-year-old Taylor Fitch.

Taylor was diagnosed with arthrogryposis as a child, a condition that causes joints to lack the normal range of motion or to be crooked. Due to Taylor's diagnosis, she has limited use of her arms, legs and hands, so she has a specialized wheelchair that allows her greater mobility. She receives occupational therapy and physical therapy at SIRH to help her gain increased function to play and interact.
