Saint Joseph London Rehab Services Join Forces with Frazier Rehab Institute

London, Ky. (Release Date)—Physical therapists at Saint Joseph London, part of KentuckyOne Health, now have greater access to industry experts, continuing education opportunities, and more thanks to a new relationship with Frazier Rehab Institute, also part of KentuckyOne Health.

Frazier Rehab Institute is a comprehensive rehabilitation system that has earned national recognition for its rehab programs, highly skilled therapists, state-of-the-art-facilities and innovative therapeutic techniques. Frazier Rehab also serves as the lead center in the country for the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation NeuroRecovery Network for patients with spinal cord injury. Patients from throughout the United States and around the world have sought care at Frazier Rehab Institute.

The new relationship has numerous benefits to patients at Saint Joseph London. Frazier Rehab hosts a series of continuing education programs for therapists featuring sessions with nationally recognized experts in rehabilitation.  Saint Joseph London physical therapists have already begun participating in those programs and increasing their expertise.  These programs share the latest in treatment protocols and best practices that therapists can apply in their daily work with patients.

“The opportunity to learn from some of the best practitioners and researchers in our field helps hone our skills so we can treat our patients better,” said Jeff Caudill, clinical supervisor, rehab services, Saint Joseph London.  “Our relationship with Frazier also gives us access to more research and data to determine the best treatment for patients with problems or concerns that we may not encounter regularly. If we have questions or a challenge with a patient, we can call on experts at Frazier for their input.  That hub expertise is a great asset for us.”

Frazier Rehab’s well-developed documentation systems have also been implemented at Saint Joseph London’s outpatient rehab services for improved tracking of patient care and outcomes. The relationship may also lead to an expansion of outpatient rehab services in the near future.

Saint Joseph London’s Outpatient Physical Therapy is located at 160 London Mountain View Drive.  For more information about our services, call 606-878-7536.
