Saint Joseph London Hosts Annual Maternity Fair

Lexington, Ky. (Aug. 25, 2014)— Saint Joseph London, part of KentuckyOne Health, will host its annual Maternity Fair on Friday, September 5, 2014 at 4:30 p.m. at the London Community Center (529 S. Main Street).

Expectant mothers and their guests can learn the latest on pregnancy, birth and care for the baby from a panel of maternity experts including OB/GYNs, anesthesiologists and pediatricians. In addition, Miranda Combs with WKYT-TV will be the featured speaker and will discuss fertility issues.

Vendor and exhibit booths will be on-site and available to provide educational information, activities and product samples. Refreshments will also be provided.

One highlight of the event is the annual Diaper Derby, which offers babies a chance to crawl their way to the finish line and win prizes (no toddlers please).

Giveaways and prizes will be distributed throughout the event. Prizes include a $500 Toys R Us Gift Card, $200 assortment of children’s reading and activity books and many more.

More than 1,000 babies are delivered each year at Saint Joseph London. The hospital offers advanced technology and equipment including private rooms that include a Jacuzzi tub for comfort during labor and ambulatory fetal heart monitoring systems for freedom of moment for laboring moms.
