LEXINGTON, Ky. (Nov 8, 2022) – Saint Joseph Hospital and Saint Joseph East have received national recognition for several service lines, ranking among America’s 100 Best Hospitals in a number of areas and receiving top honors in others. The two facilities have received Five-Star ratings, according to new research released by Healthgrades, the leading marketplace connecting doctors and patients.
Saint Joseph Hospital is recognized for its cardiac, neurosciences, pulmonary, gastrointestinal and critical care service lines. The facility has received Five-Star recognition in each of these areas, is one of the Top 5% in the Nation for both Pulmonary and Critical Care Services, among the Top 10% in the Nation for Treatment of Stroke, and is also among the Top 100 Best Hospitals for both Pulmonary and Critical Care Services.
These recent ratings are in addition to Saint Joseph Hospital being named one of the Top 250 Hospitals in the country (the only hospital in Lexington) in February, for the fourth year in a row (2019-2022).

The facility is also among the top 10% in the Nation for Cardiology Services and Coronary Interventional Procedures.
