Our Lady of Peace to Host Free Seminar on Managing Difficult Behaviors for Parents in Oldham County

 

Louisville, Ky. (October 15, 2013) —The Kosair Charities Children’s Peace Center at Our Lady of Peace, part of KentuckyOne Health, will host a free seminar for parents in Oldham County on managing difficult childhood behaviors as part of the Peace for Parents series.

 

Michael O’Brien, intervention specialty and behavior analyst graduate student and Celese McGinnis, behavior analyst practicum student will co-host a seminar on managing difficult childhood behaviors at home and school. The seminar will take place November 14 at 6 p.m. in the Library Media Center at LaGrange Elementary, located at 500 W. Jefferson St. in LaGrange.

 

Peace for Parents is open to parents, teachers, counselors and other concerned individuals that would like to learn more about how to face challenging issues with children and adolescents.

 

“Parents face a variety of challenges throughout the life of their child, and societal pressures are greater than ever before,” said Jennifer Nolan, president, Our Lady of Peace. “This Peace for Parents program aims to provide tools and information to educate parents on how to best manage difficult behaviors.”
