Our Lady of Peace to Host Free Seminar for Parents in Bardstown - Archived

 

Bardstown, Ky. (March 7, 2014) —The Kosair Charities Children’s Peace Center at Our Lady of Peace, part of KentuckyOne Health, will host a free seminar in Bardstown on managing difficult childhood behaviors at home and at school on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 6 p.m. at Bluegrass Community Family Practice, located at 935 Chambers Lane.

 

The seminar, entitled, “Managing Difficult Childhood Behaviors at Home and at School,” is part of the 2014 Peace for Parents educational series.  Through the program, Our Lady of Peace experts host educational seminars to help parents, grandparents, teachers, counselors and others who want to learn more about how to face challenging issues with children and adolescents. The seminars usually last 60-90 minutes.

The Bardstown event will be hosted by Kim Dwyer-Moore, a board certified behavioral analyst at Our Lady of Peace, one of the country's largest private, non-profit psychiatric hospitals. Dwyer-Moore will share useful strategies to create a positive and predictable environment where children are less likely to misbehave.
