KentuckyOne Health Breast Care Receives NAPBC Accreditation
Accreditation recognizes commitment to providing the highest quality breast care

Lexington, Ky. (July 24, 2018) – KentuckyOne Health Breast Care has received Three-Year Full Accreditation from the American College of Surgeons’ National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC). This accreditation was awarded from a survey conducted on April 25, 2018, and will extend until April 24, 2021. The NAPBC accreditation formally acknowledges KentuckyOne Health’s commitment to providing the highest quality breast care, including evaluation and management of patients with breast disease.

Due to their hard work, the breast care program is deserving of this esteemed accreditation.”

NAPBC Three-Year Full Accreditation is awarded to centers that comply with all 29 standards at the time of the survey. The program was analyzed in six categories, including leadership, clinical management, research, community outreach, professional education and quality improvement.
