Dr. Jonathan Goldstein joins KentuckyOne Health Gastroenterology Associates - Archived
Louisville, KY (July 28, 2014) – Jonathan Goldstein, M.D., has joined KentuckyOne Gastroenterology Associates.
The Louisville resident completed his undergraduate degree at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, earning dual majors in political science and psychology. He then did pre-medical work at Georgia State University in Atlanta, and earned a Master of Public Health degree at Emory Rollins School of Public Health in Atlanta. He earned his M.D. degree at the University of Louisville School of Medicine, then completed an internal medicine residency at the University of South Florida School of Medicine, and a gastroenterology fellowship at U of L.
He is board-certified in both gastroenterology and internal medicine.
Dr. Goldstein has co-authored a number of scientific publications, and has earned the honor of presenting to the scientists assembled for Digestive Diseases Week the results of scientific research performed by himself and others.
The physician, who is fluent in French, has volunteered for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, raising funds for a sponsored child by completing the Chicago Triathlon. He has served as a mentor and coach to underprivileged youth. He is also an advanced open water diver.
Dr. Goldstein’s main office will be at Medical Center Jewish East at 3920 Dutchman’s Lane, Suite 300, in Louisville. On the second and fourth Monday of every month he will see patients at Medical Center Jewish South, 1905 W. Hebron Lane, Suite 205, in Shepherdsville.
