Structural Heart Team at Saint Joseph Hospital

Dr. Falluji is the principle investigator at Saint Joseph Hospital andis board certified in cardiology, interventional cardiology and vascular medicine. He specializes in cardiovascular disease, structural heart procedures, coronary artery intervention, and peripheral arterial and venous intervention. He is proficient in CTAVR, EKG, and left atrial and MitraClip® procedures.

Dr. Falluji received his undergraduate and medical training at AMU Medical School. He completed medical school in 1993, performed his residency at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, completed an interventional cardiology fellowship at the University of Kentucky and received his MPH at Rutgers University.

Dr. Schaeffer is a specialist in cardiovascular disease and structural heart and coronary artery intervention. He is board certified in cardiology, interventional cardiology and internal medicine.

He completed his undergraduate studies at Ohio State University in 1998, completed medical school at the University of Cincinnati in 2001, performed a residency at the University of Cincinnati and an interventional cardiology fellowship at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. He is a member of ACC and SCAI.

Dr. Mohammadzadeh is board certified in cardiovascular thoracic surgery and general surgery, is a certified diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners and is board certified by the American Board of Phlebology.

He specializes in percutaneous valve procedures (TAVR), Maze thoracoscopic procedures and treatment of cardiovascular disease. He graduated from Calvin College in 1987, completed medical school at Temple University in 1991, performed his residency at the University of Kentucky and a cardiac surgery fellowship at the University of Arizona. He is a member of FACCS, the American Academy of Oncology, the Society of Thoracic Surgeons, FACS and the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Salley is board certified in general and thoracic surgery. He received his undergraduate degree at Baylor University, completed medical school at Louisiana State University in 1977, did his residency at University of South Alabama and cardiac surgery fellowships at Vanderbilt University and the University of Rochester.
