KentuckyOne Health Primary Care in Meade County Now Offering After Hours Care

Brandenburg, Ky. (April 24, 2015) – KentuckyOne Health Primary Care, formerly Jewish Hospital Health Center Meade County, is now offering “After Hours Care” to meet the needs of the community. After Hours Care will be available Mondays and Thursdays from 6-9 p.m. at their current location, 534 Hillcrest Drive, in Brandenburg.

“We know that illness doesn’t always hit ‘during business hours,’ so we’re dedicated to expanding the services in Meade County to meet the growing needs of the community and to continue our mission to bring wellness, healing and hope to all, including the underserved,” said Charlie Powell, president, physician enterprise, KentuckyOne Health.

Since opening in 1995, the clinical staff has delivered quality care to residents of Meade County. The facility offers primary and specialty care services, including breast cancer screenings provided by James Graham Brown Cancer Center, also part of KentuckyOne Health; a cardiology specialty clinic offered by Bruce Fischer, MD; and allergy care.

KentuckyOne Health has launched an additional mobile screening program, which will provide advanced cardiovascular, mammography and biometric screenings.  The mobile screening program will also connect patients to appropriate KentuckyOne Health providers for follow-up care as needed. This initiative will augment monthly mobile cancer screenings provided to Meade County residents via the James Graham Brown Cancer Center mobile mammography van.

In addition to the new After Hours Care, the facility will continue to offer regular hours Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m.-2 p.m., as well as specialty clinic and screening hours. For more information, or to make an appointment, call 270.422.5000.
