Elvin Rayford named PAS-FM regional director of facilities management for KentuckyOne Health


Louisville, KY (May 7, 2015)—Elvin Rayford, Jr., C.H.F.M., C.H.S.P., C.H.E.P., H.E.M., C.R.C.M., has been selected as the physical asset services – facility management (PAS-FM) regional director of facilities for the KentuckyOne Health system.  

Elvin served as KentuckyOne’s interim PAS-FM leader for seven months prior to being selected as the permanent leader. He brings more than 30 years of health care management experience in nonprofit and for-profit hospitals to his position with KentuckyOne.

In his previous roles, he led multiple support service departments, including facilities engineering, plant operations, real estate and property management, environmental services, design and construction, security, grounds, transportation, laundry, valet service, and mailroom.  He has managed facility master planning, space planning, environmental design, capital projects, and emergency management.

A longtime resident of northern Texas, Elvin relocated to Kentucky in 2012.  He is an active member of the American Society of Healthcare Engineering, the National Fire Protection Association, the Kentucky Society of Healthcare Engineers (KSHE), and international associations for environmental health and safety, health care environmental services, and health care security. In addition, Elvin is the vice president of education for the KSHE.
