Dr. Gopala Rao Joins KentuckyOne Health Cardiology Associates in London

London, Ky. (October 12, 2016) – Gopala Rao, MD, has joined KentuckyOne Health Cardiology Associates, located at 1210 West 5th Street in London.
 
Rao brings more than 18 years of experience to KentuckyOne Health. He has joined KentuckyOne Health Cardiology Associates from his previous role as an Interventional Cardiologist at Aria Hospital in Philadelphia. He completed his training in Interventional Cardiology from Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York. He is a member of the American College of Physicians, American College of Cardiology, American Heart Association and Indian Medical Association.  
Rao received his Bachelor’s degree from Mysore Medical College in India in 1998, and received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research in India in 2001. He is certified in cardiology, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and vascular interpretation.
