Women’s Hospital Saint Joseph East Hosts 15th Annual Maternity Fair - Archived

 

Lexington, Ky. (May 7, 2014)— Lectures from experts, mini massages and more await expecting moms at the 15th annual Maternity Fair presented by  Women’s Hospital Saint Joseph East, part of KentuckyOne Health, on Saturday, May 10, 2014 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. 

 

Throughout the day, moms-to-be can enjoy pampering from Baby Belly with mini massages and mini manicures. Vendor and exhibit booths will provide educational information and activities. Tours of Women’s Hospital Saint Joseph East will also be available.

 

From 9:15 a.m.-noon, parents-to-be and their guests can learn the latest on pregnancy, birth and care for the baby from a panel of maternity experts, including OB/GYNs, pediatricians, an anesthesiologist and a sleep expert. A question and answer session will follow for additional information.

 

The 6th annual Diaper Derby will commence at 12:15 p.m. Babies will crawl in a race to the finish line while parents and fans cheer them along. 

 

Giveaways and prizes will be distributed throughout the event. One lucky attendee will win the grand prize, which includes free delivery at Women’s Hospital Saint Joseph East* and a package of assorted goodies. (*Women’s Hospital Saint Joseph East will cover the out-of-pocket expenses up to a maximum of $2,000.)
