Childbirth Education Classes

Our range of childbirth education classes offer an in-depth view of pregnancy, labor and birth. You and a partner can learn all about how your /baby develops and what to expect at every stage of labor. Relaxation is key during childbirth, so we’ll also demonstrate and practice ways of moving and breathing that will make pain and discomfort more manageable.

We don’t just cover pregnancy and birth, though. We’ll also explore what happens when your /baby is born, including breastfeeding and other feeding options, taking care of your own healing and what to expect during the postpartum period. You’ll learn about caring for your new /baby as well, including how to adjust to the ways a new child changes your family dynamics.

Breastfeeding Classes

Breastfeeding can be a joy for new moms, but it can also be challenging. That’s why we offer breastfeeding classes in addition to having lactation consultants on staff. We’ll cover the basics of how breastfeeding works and what to expect in the first few days after your /baby is born. We’ll demonstrate and practice the proper positioning for successful latching, so you can get started off on the right foot. Our class will also cover how to manage breastfeeding and pumping for working mothers, so you can offer your /baby the best start no matter your situation.
