Three CHI Saint Joseph Health Facilities and Groups in Lexington Recognized on “Best Places to Work in Kentucky” List

LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 15, 2024)Saint Joseph HospitalCHI Saint Joseph Health Partners and Continuing Care Hospital in Lexington have all earned a place on the “Best Places to Work in Kentucky” list. Each year, the list identifies and honors Kentucky's best employers. They are among six facilities or groups within CHI Saint Joseph Health to make the list this year.

“This recognition reflects our commitment to fostering an inclusive and collaborative work environment for our caregivers and an atmosphere of humankindness for our patients,” said Anthony Houston, Ed.D., FACHE, market president, CHI Saint Joseph Health. “Being named to the 2024 ‘Best Places to Work in Kentucky’ list is an honor that would not be possible without the dedicated caregivers who live our values of compassion, inclusion, integrity, excellence and collaboration each and every day.”

CHI Saint Joseph Health Partners and Continuing Care Hospital have been recognized as one of the 43 top small-sized employers, which includes businesses with 15-149 employees. This is the third consecutive year that CHI Saint Joseph Health Partners has been recognized as a Best Place to Work. This is the first time Continuing Care Hospital has made the list. Saint Joseph Hospital has also been recognized for the first time as one of the 26 top large-sized employers, which includes businesses with more than 500 employees.

The Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and the Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management (KYSHRM) host the annual Best Places to Work initiative. This is the 20th Annual Best Places to Work in Kentucky program – a multi-year initiative designed to motivate and inspire companies throughout the commonwealth to focus, measure and move their workplace environments toward excellence. 

Companies are selected based on an assessment of their employee policies, procedures, and the results of an internal employee survey. CHI Saint Joseph Health Partners, Continuing Care Hospital and Saint Joseph Hospital are three of six facilities or groups from CHI Saint Joseph Health to earn recognition on the list. The others are Saint Joseph Berea, Saint Joseph London and Saint Joseph Mount Sterling.
