CHI Saint Joseph Health Foundations’ Market Director of Philanthropy & Donor Communications Recognized by Association for Healthcare Philanthropy - Archived

WASHINGTON, D.C., (August 27, 2019) – Andrea Shepherd, CFRE, Market Director of Philanthropy and Donor Communications, Flaget Memorial Hospital Foundation, CHI Saint Joseph Health Foundations, has been included in the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP) 2019 40 Under 40 list.

The 40 Under 40 program is designed to recognize the future leaders within the health care philanthropy community. AHP is honoring these 40 young professionals because they are shaping the future of the health care development industry. Collectively, they are changing the world – one campaign at a time.

“These honorees are part of a select group of health care philanthropy who have demonstrated impressive career achievements, deep community involvement and the potential to be a leader in our profession for years to come,” said Alice Ayres, AHP president & CEO.

Shepherd is leading the second largest campaign in the history of Bardstown – raising $1.2 million for an expansion of the Flaget Memorial Hospital – Cancer Care Center and bringing 3D mammography technology to Bardstown. She led a new event, Bourbon & Bluegrass Holiday Bash, which has increased event revenue nearly 300 percent and has raised nearly $300,000.

Shepherd will be recognized at the 2019 AHP Annual International Conference October 23-26 in Washington, D.C. Recognition events will include an invitation-only breakfast and award dinner on Thursday, October 24, during the conference.
