Saint Joseph London Welcomes First Baby of 2019 - Archived

London, Ky. (January 3, 2019) - Saint Joseph London welcomed its first baby of 2019 at 10:07 a.m. on January 2, 2019. Garrett and Diana Fields from London welcomed Adailynn Rose Fields. She weighed 6 lbs. and 13.9 oz. and was 19 ½ inches long.

Each year, hospital staff work with local businesses to create a welcome wagon for the first baby born in the New Year, including gift certificates, diapers, wipes and assorted gifts.

“We always look forward to the arrival of the first baby of the year and enjoy making this experience so special for families,” said Lisa Minton, Unit Coordinator for the Birthing Center at Saint Joseph London. “We appreciate all the local businesses that donated items to give to this family.”

Saint Joseph London delivered 1085 babies in 2018.
